Private Chef in Los Cabos: What It Costs and How It Works

A private chef is the single most-requested service we arrange in Los Cabos — and the one people are most surprised by. Not because of the price, but because of how simple it is: the chef shops, cooks in your villa's kitchen, serves, and leaves everything clean. You just show up hungry.

Want cocktails with that? A bartender is $30 USD per hour (3-hour minimum), plus the shopping for whatever your group drinks.

The fine print, in plain English

• “+ groceries” means you cover the shopping list. The chef builds the menu with you, buys everything, and the receipts are yours. You pay for the food you eat — nothing marked up into a mystery “per person” rate.
• Services in San José del Cabo add $30 USD (distance, simple as that).
• From 7 to 10 guests there's a $40 USD helper fee per service — a second pair of hands so dinner lands hot.
• Over 10 guests: +$20 USD per additional guest, per service.
• Taxes not included. Gratuity is entirely at your discretion.

How a chef night actually flows

1. You text us — date, guest count, where you're staying, and what your group loves (or can't eat).
2. We match the menu — Baja seafood, tacos night, surf & turf, kids' plates, whatever fits.
3. The chef arrives early, cooks in front of you, serves course by course.
4. The kitchen ends cleaner than it started. You never leave the pool.
